How it works

Four doors. One finished piece of audio.

Listen. Share. Discover. The legacy site asked people to find audio, listen when they chose, rate it, share it, and upload their own. This rebuild keeps that promise and starts with the work that actually ships.

1. Create lyrics

You bring a theme, a genre, and a mood. UserAudio® returns a full draft with labeled sections. Every line is yours to change. Free drafts are limited on purpose; extra lyric sets will be a small one-time charge, not a membership.

2. Make a Song

Pay once for lyrics polish ($29), a demo bed ($49), or an audition-ready cut ($79). There is no subscription standing between you and one song. If Stripe keys are present, checkout is live. If they are not, the site says so and still walks the path.

3. Discover / Pitch

Pay $9 or $19 to list a track. Disclose AI help. Warrant that you can license the work. The crowd nominates a singer — suggestions, not a comment thread. You shortlist, invite them into Needs a Voice, or start a license intro. UserAudio’s perpetual percentage on platform-introduced deals is a draft pending counsel.

4. Needs a Voice

Post a 30–60 second excerpt and a brief. Singers send private auditions with a fixed quote. You hire one. Payment is managed. Rights stay voice-safe: no cloning, no model training, no impersonation.

Listen, share, later sell

The original site let you browse user audio in real time, listen where you were, rate what you heard, save it, and share or sell your own. That catalog — continuing education, remembrance, bedtime stories priced by you — returns after this slice. Until then, upload a pitch or a singer brief so the piece can move.

When you record or upload

Decide what you want on the tape. Uploads can come from any device you already have. The old recording advice still holds:

  1. Know what you want to say, play, or sing. A script, notes, or a short outline helps.
  2. Check that the device works and that the room is the one you want — quiet, or an audience if you need one.
  3. Speak or sing clearly. Pull interference out of the room first.
  4. Listen all the way through before you call it finished. Did it turn out the way you want others to hear it?

UserAudio is a web app. We are not shipping iPhone or Android storefronts in this rebuild.
