Privacy

A draft, not a policy you can rely on yet.

The Magento-era privacy policy is not republished as a live contract. Counsel needs to write the version for this stack: Amplify, Stripe, magic-link email, and whatever lyric provider we enable. Topics below still apply in spirit and are labeled draft.

Draft pending counsel review

This page is a placeholder so the new site can ship. It is not the legacy Magento policy and it is not legal advice. Do not treat it as the live contract until counsel rewrites and we publish a dated version.

UserAudio® and Your Audio, Your Way are trademarks of UserAudio, a US company. Draft pending counsel.

UserAudio® takes privacy seriously. This page describes what the rebuild is likely to collect and why. It is not a consent you can rely on in court. Questions: privacy@useraudio.com or hello@useraudio.com.

Who this draft names

Product copy uses UserAudio, a US company. The Magento privacy policy named “UserAudio, LLC” and the Magento terms named “UserAudio, Inc.” This rebuild does not choose between them. Counsel will.

What we may collect (draft)

  • Account and contact information when you request a sign-in link (email).
  • Payment data handled by Stripe — we should not store card numbers.
  • Lyric prompts and outputs sent to a model provider when keys are set.
  • Audition and pitch audio stored in a private bucket, not a public feed.
  • Discover listings, nominations, and the draft participation agreement — see /legal/participation.
  • Cookies and similar storage needed to run checkout and keep a session. Session cookies go away when the browser closes; persistent cookies, if any, would remember a preference. Targeting ads are not part of this MVP.
  • Technical data a host typically sees: IP address, browser, and which page you hit — used to run the site, rate-limit abuse, and debug.

How we may use it (draft)

To keep your account, send the magic link, take a pay-once payment, store the audio you uploaded, identify you as the person who listed a track, enforce house rules, and answer a support or copyright note. We do not sell a public listening graph in this release.

Who we may share with (draft)

Service providers that already sit in the stack — hosting, database, object storage, email, payments, and a lyric model if enabled. Third-party sites you click through have their own policies. We may disclose information when the law requires it or to stop abuse.

Access and deletion (draft)

Email us to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to ask that it be deleted. Until counsel publishes a dated process, treat that as a human request, not a statutory portal. If you delete an account you may lose access to listings and sessions tied to that email.

Until a dated policy exists, treat this site as a public demo and avoid submitting information you would not put in an email.
