Why UserAudio®

Put the power of audio back in your hands.

Thank you for coming. You have many choices for listening, creating, uploading, and sharing. Our goal is the same as the first site: Listen. Share. Discover. — and to put sound back with the person who made it.

Nobody records a story the way the author does. We are not trying to become another infinite catalog. We are trying to help you finish the piece that matters to you — and obey copyright along the way.

Pay once for one song

A lot of music tools hide the first useful result behind a plan. UserAudio’s Make a Song packages are one-time. Create a lyric, polish it, hear a bed, take an excerpt to a singer. Stop when you are done. There are no membership fees required just to make one piece.

Human voices for AI-assisted songs

If you used a model to get unstuck on a lyric, you can still hire a person to sing it. Needs a Voice is a private audition desk with a $99 floor and a 15% fee from the performer payout. Discover is the public cousin: list a track, collect nominations, start a license intro. We will not build voice cloning into this product.

Share free or set a price

The first site let people share audio free or name a price. That idea stays. A bedtime story for a quarter. A continuing-education hour for ten dollars. An audiobook you priced yourself. A remembrance piece that is not for sale at all. Upload, listen, and sell for CE and remembrance come after this MVP.

Ratings with a purpose

When catalog audio returns, the owner assigns a starting rating — G, PG, PG-13, or M — so a parent or a licensing board can see what they are about to play. Listeners can disagree with the label. See the ratings page for how those marks work.

Brian Owens, co-founder, said the first version best: give it a try. We think you will be pleased — and if you are not, you did not buy a year of access to find out.
